Understand the information requested for a funding application and the decisions that stay yours.
Information relevant to your application.
The business funding application asks for business identity, address, EIN, revenue, employment details and funding needs. Principal owner information includes ownership percentage, contact details, date of birth, SSN or ITIN, self-reported credit and home address. These details are relevant to understanding the business, confirming ownership and evaluating a funding request.
If the principal owner owns less than 100%, additional owners can be added optionally. Enter accurate information you are authorized to provide. Listing someone as an owner does not give permission to contact them for marketing or obtain their credit report.
Business bank statements should cover the latest four statement periods. A single document may cover several periods, and a period may span multiple files. Do not provide bank login credentials.
You can return to earlier steps to correct your answers before submitting. Unsubmitted answers and selected files stay in memory in this tab. Clearing or refreshing removes those local entries; browser autofill is controlled separately by your browser.
When you submit, Spruce receives your application through Supabase, our application database and private document storage service. Statements upload separately, and the receipt shows which uploads have been confirmed. The number of files received does not establish complete statement coverage.
Submitted information is retained in Spruce's Supabase project for application review. Clearing the form does not delete information already received. Authorized staff using verified Spruce company Google accounts can review applications and download statements; documents are not publicly accessible. Contact Spruce about corrections, deletion or retention questions. No automatic deletion schedule is currently applied.
Internal application packets.
For application review, Spruce sends an internal packet to admin@spruce-consulting.com through Resend, our email delivery service. The packet includes a PDF of your submitted business and owner information and copies of the business statements that have been received. It may contain the taxpayer identifiers, dates of birth, contact details and financial information you submitted.
Resend and Spruce's business email service process delivery and storage of these messages. Email copies have access controls and retention separate from the application database. Contact Spruce about correction, retention or deletion questions involving your application and its internal email copies. These packets support application review; they do not activate marketing, credit inquiries or sharing with a funding provider.
Two separate permissions.
The application offers a communications choice and an independent credit-inquiry choice at the bottom of the document step. Both begin unchecked and can be changed independently. Marketing permission is optional and is not a condition of applying for or receiving funding or purchasing anything.
Changing your phone number or email clears the communications selection so you can confirm the updated contact details. Changes to relevant primary identity information clear the credit selection. An additional owner’s permissions must be obtained from that person.
Calls, texts and marketing
I agree that Spruce-Consulting LLC may contact me about funding and marketing at the phone number and email I provide, including calls and texts using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, plus email and digital marketing messages. Consent is not required to apply for or receive funding or purchase anything. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to texts or unsubscribe from emails to opt out; other reasonable opt-out requests will be honored.
This choice covers communications from Spruce-Consulting LLC. It is separate from cookie or advertising-tracking choices and from sharing application information with another organization.
The communications choice does not authorize uploading sensitive application information to an advertising platform or using it to create an advertising audience.
Funding review and provider disclosures.
Funding may be provided by Spruce-Consulting LLC or selected funding providers. An actual offer must identify the funding provider, product type, complete cost, associated fees, and payment or collection terms before you decide. Availability depends on the business, program, and state.
If a funding review involves another organization, the recipient, purpose and relevant information will be explained before the applicable sharing decision. The communications and credit choices do not authorize sharing with undisclosed organizations.
Sharing information for a funding review does not itself give another company permission to send marketing. Any separate marketing permission requires a clear explanation and the applicable choice.
Credit Authorization.
Credit inquiry authorization
I authorize Spruce-Consulting LLC to request credit information about me to evaluate this funding application, under the Credit Authorization. This applies only to me, not any additional owner.
Before a credit inquiry, the business or personal report scope, requesting party, report provider and soft or hard inquiry type will be provided. Any report about an additional owner requires that owner’s own applicable authorization.
Credit authorization is separate from marketing permission. An authorization by the principal applicant applies to that applicant only. Before considering a credit inquiry, confirm the report scope and inquiry type; an inquiry’s effect on a credit score depends on the actual report and inquiry.
When you choose to email Spruce.
An email link opens your email app. Sending a message shares its contents and your sender information through your email service with the displayed address.
Keep general questions limited to what you need to ask. Do not email Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank credentials, bank statements, or other sensitive application documents.
Privacy questions and corrections.
The company is Spruce-Consulting LLC. For questions about application information, recipients, retention, corrections or your applicable privacy choices, contact admin@spruce-consulting.com. Please keep the initial message general and do not include sensitive application information.
