The starting requirements.
What is the minimum monthly revenue?
At least $15,000 in monthly business revenue, including exactly $15,000. This is an initial revenue screen; approval, available amounts, and terms depend on the business and funding program.
Is there a minimum time in business?
Time-in-business requirements depend on the provider and program. Include the business start date in the application; months in business are optional.
Can a business from any US state inquire?
The inquiry experience covers all 50 US states. Program availability varies by provider and state; selecting a state does not establish eligibility.
What if my business is below the revenue minimum?
The starting requirement is $15,000 in monthly business revenue. If your business is below that amount, you can still read the funding guide or ask Spruce a general question about your situation.
Does choosing an industry or funding goal qualify my business?
No. Business examples help you describe your needs. Eligibility and permitted uses depend on the business, provider, and specific program.
Provider, product, and costs.
Is Spruce the funding provider?
Funding may be provided by Spruce-Consulting LLC or selected funding providers. An actual offer must identify the funding provider, product type, complete cost, associated fees, and payment or collection terms before you decide. Availability depends on the business, program, and state.
What kind of funding should I consider?
Start with the business purpose, requested amount, timing, and cash flow. Funding arrangements have different obligations; review the product type and written terms for each specific option.
What will funding cost?
Costs and fees depend on the option. Compare the net amount your business would receive, every associated fee, and the full payment or collection obligation before accepting an agreement.
How much funding can I get?
The amount depends on the business and program. Enter the amount you want to explore in the application; a requested amount is not an estimate, offer, or approval.
Are all arrangements loans?
No. An agreement may have a different structure, including a purchase of future business receivables. That differs from a conventional bank loan. Ask for the product type, written terms, and a clear explanation of the obligations.
Will a credit inquiry affect my credit?
The effect depends on the inquiry. Review the business or personal report scope, requesting party, report provider, and whether an inquiry is soft or hard before authorizing it. Do not assume every inquiry has no impact.
How long does approval or funding take?
Timing depends on the provider, program, required information, review, and agreement. An application does not guarantee approval or a funding date.
Completing your application.
How do I start an application?
Gather the essentials and work through four sections: Business, Funding, Owners, and Documents. Separate communications and credit-inquiry choices appear at the end.
What information does the application include?
Business identity, EIN, location, revenue, and employees; requested funding amount, timing, remittance preference, and use; and principal owner identity, ownership, contact details, date of birth, SSN or ITIN, self-reported credit, and home address.
Which bank statements should I prepare?
Prepare business bank statements covering the most recent four statement periods. One PDF can cover several periods, and one period can be split across files. Four files alone do not establish four-period coverage.
Which file formats are accepted?
Up to four files, 10 MB per file. Accepted formats: PDF, PNG, and JPG. Choose clear, readable statements that show the business account and statement dates.
Can I include other business owners?
Yes. When the principal owner holds less than 100%, the Owners section offers an optional way to add other owners. Complete the details for every owner you include; combined ownership cannot exceed 100%. Adding an owner does not authorize a credit inquiry about that person.
What do the two checkboxes cover?
The communications choice covers calls, texts, email, and digital marketing from Spruce-Consulting LLC. The separate credit-inquiry choice applies only to the applicant named in the authorization. Read the wording beside each choice before deciding.
Must I agree to marketing to apply?
No. Marketing permission is separate from credit-inquiry authorization and is not a condition of applying for or receiving funding or purchasing anything.
Can I go back and change an answer?
Yes. Use Back or a completed section to edit your answers. Recheck your choices after changing contact or identity details. Reloading the page clears unsaved answers.
Does completing an application mean I am approved?
No. Completing an application or meeting the starting revenue screen does not guarantee approval, an available amount, or a funding offer. Review any specific offer and its written terms before accepting it.
Contact and information use.
How can I ask Spruce a general question?
Email admin@spruce-consulting.com with a general business funding question. Use the application for the business and owner details needed to evaluate a funding request.
Should I email identity or banking documents?
No. Keep general email limited to your question. Do not email Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank credentials, bank statements, or other sensitive application documents.
Does the communications choice cover another company’s marketing?
The communications checkbox names Spruce-Consulting LLC. Another organization’s marketing requires its own applicable permission; read the recipient and purpose before agreeing.
Is the communications checkbox a cookie preference?
No. Communications permission is separate from cookie preferences or advertising tracking. It does not authorize using sensitive application information in advertising audiences.
